Meet Dr. Neil Knetzer

We want to understand who you are. We’re here to improve your lifestyle, not just give you a pill to cover up the symptoms.

Staying in the Game

Dr. Neil KnetzerDr. Knetzer experienced several sports injuries at an early age. He had problems with his ankle, shoulder and neck that all related to athletics, primarily from playing baseball. Dr. Knetzer tried out the usual medical approaches such as physical therapy to help his problems. But such a rigid and impersonal environment didn’t help him heal. He then tried chiropractic and saw success through this natural approach.

Education and Professional Development

Dr. Knetzer first completed the pre-medical program at the University of Pittsburgh. After that, he continued on to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. It was there he continued learning about the importance of getting to know patients on an individual basis.

In addition to his Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Knetzer also has certification in electrodiagnostics-electromyography and nerve conduction velocity studies (EMG/NCV).

Helping Those in the Community

Dr. Knetzer finds it highly fulfilling to help those in the community. “I’ve had patients come in in tears due to low back pain or neck pain and a week or two down the road, they’re operating as a normal human. And they’re very thankful for that.”

He also takes the time to explain to his patients what’s going on with their health and then provides a realistic care plan, including how long he thinks it will take to recover.

Making Time for Family

Dr. Knetzer comes from a large Irish-Catholic family. He and his wife have two children, Anna and Nolan. Family is his top priority. Friday nights are saved for dinners at Dr. Knetzer’s parent’s house, and Sunday dinners are at his in-laws.

His family likes playing sports together, including golfing with his brother. Dr. Knetzer also enjoys coaching a local youth baseball team. He is also passionate about investing in real estate.
